Clip settings and Sequence settings match but still red line.
I recently captured some clips with the Canon 550d (Rebel T2i) in H.264, 1920×1080, 29.97fps in NTSC Mode (camera had ntsc settings). Now I wanted to edit things in FinalCutPro.
As I know that H.264 is not good to edit with I used MPEG Streamclip to convert the H.264 in something useful. So I chose
Quicktime,
Apple DVCPRO50 NTSC for example (I also tried Apple DV/DVCPRO NTSC, also other PAL formats as well), sized down to HDTV 720p,
kept 29.97
deselected the interlaced scaling
and converted. All went well. I could also import it into FCP.
But when I matched the sequence settings to the settings of the clip the red line was still there. I just can’t get rid of it.
the only thing in the sequence settings which differs is the audio bitrate (32 instead of 16) but I don’t think that’s the point here.
field dominance differs: sequence setting “none”, clip setting “unknown”, but I tried out different settings but nothing worked.does anyone know a solution to this problem?
if some information is missing to solve this problem I am sorry, I will post it then.
thank you for reading.
