  • “View large icons” crashes the project!

    Hi!

If I open a bin in FCP that contains many video files and the bin is set to “view large icons”, very often this operation makes the whole project to crash. Why? Is this a FCP problem or is it my computer? I’m running FCP 7.0.3 on a Mac Pro 2×2,26 Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 12 Gb of Ram and ATI Radeon HD 4870.

    Thanks!

Quit Fcp and try trashing your thumbnail cache and try again.

Thanks, Jeremy! I’ve found them in the “Final Cut Pro Documents” folder. Should I trash both the “cache” file and the “data” file?
