  FCP crashed lost loged and transferred clips!

  Hi,

  I’m new to FCP after using Pinnacle for 3 years. How do i set up my project to auto save? I lost some of my log and transfer clips yesterday when FCP crashed!!!

  You specify where the autosave fault is in the System Settings (that’s where the autosave files are kept) and you choose the frequency of saving and number of files in the User Preferences. I’d advise getting into the habit of manually saving regularly anyway 🙂

  You may want to check the drive at the finder level because chances are the QT files are actually in your capture scratch. You may just need to import them into the session.
