Hi all, I have FCS 3 and have always been able to import and transcode my footage using the Log and Trasfer window. But recently, I changed my audio and video setting to match my camera exactly. I have a Panasonic HMC151 – FCP is set for ProRes422 1080 50i.

The problem I have now is – I cannot log and capture! It’s showing the thumbnails, but when I click import, it won’t go 🙁

    Any ideas?

I changed the settings because they were not right for the footage I was using. But yes, I did change them back to what they were before – DV PAL 48mhz – and it transcodes fine.

It seems this is a bug in FCP. I cannot use the right HD settings for my camera footage, which means that every time I start a project, I have to change the setting for the timeline.

    The lesser of two evils…
