  Highspeed Workflow?

  Hi All,

  I’m working with footage from an Arri Highspeed camera. It’s recorded all the footage into Tiff Sequences.
  However when I transcode these to Proress HQ using MPEG Streamclip they look juttery and don’t run smooth, (it’s not the speed of the machine rather the movement from one frame to the next). They’re also telling me they’re 15fps.

  I was wondering if any one could tell me the correct workflow with FCP to deal with the footage.

  Do you have After Effect? This can use a Targa sequence and create a MOV file for you.

  Also in Quicktime 7, you can open Image Sequence and select the frame rate @ that point and create a MOV.

  You can also set the frame duration length upon import in FCP and import the stills there.

  However, if they shot 15FPS ??? you might have to stick to that?
