October 8, 2007 at 6:52 pmAre you talking about exporting from Avid? If so, it will tell you in the export dialogue box.

October 8, 2007 at 7:21 pmI want to match the output of the AVID final HD render, in this case, 220 MXF transcoding, by delivering movies rendered from AE with the proper PAR and resolution.
Is AVID 220 MXF output :
1440 x 1080 (1.33 PAR) 16 x 9 or
1920 x 1080 squarethanks,

October 9, 2007 at 3:30 amoh…almost forgot. When you add you comp to the render queue and choose QT and Avid DNxHD as a format, you’ll need to click the options button on the format window to select the DNxHD resolution. For DNxHD 220 there are 10bit and 8 bit versions. 10 bit corresponds to the Avid DNxHD 220x format. Most likely they are working with the 8bit HDcam unless they are using footage recorded in HDcam SR and an HDcam SR deck which is 10bit.
