    Hi,

I’ve got a new 8-Core Mac Pro and I’ve noticed that I’m not
getting a clean stereo out of the ‘Audio Out’ mini-jack.
Neither out of the headphone socket – and it’s kind of clean when I test using
    a USB audio out.

I’ve tried flashing the P-RAM and V-Ram, I’ve tried deleting the audio.plist and I’ve also done another
clean install of the OS from the installer disk.

What’s curious is that I had the exact same problem with my Macbook Pro,

I’ve tested the speakers on another audio source, and they are playing stereo fine, which leads me to believe it’s something to do with the new Mac Pro.

    Anyone else experience this?

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Wayne

Sounds to me like you should either try different cables, or you have a audio system problem with that mac… which can be tested by any authorized dealer and repaired under warranty.
