Compressor 3.5 Motion Stutter upon Blu-ray Encode
Using the Blu-ray template, I’ve been trying to successfully burn a jitter-free playable BD. The .mov file I have been testing with is a 1920×1080 23.976fps w an H.264 codec that contains 6 channels of audio (this file plays fine and is stutter free). Upon the encode and burn, my disc plays back with a slight stutter (BD-S350 player). It’s as if the field setting is incorrect. I’ve tried both Progressive and Top Field First before output, but have yielded the same result. I thought the error may have been my player or the media I’ve been using, but the final encoded file (when played back on the mac) has the stutter as well. Frame rate for the final output is still 23.976. I adjusted the bit rate to 20mbps avg. and 30mbps max. Have any of you had similar problems??
