  60 Frame Video on 24 Frame timeline

  I shot some scenes from a film on the Canon 7D at 59.94 frames. I’m told if you place that on a 24 frame timeline you get smoother slow motion as well as giving programs such as Twixtor more date to work with. When I place the video on the timeline it still moves at normal speed. I obviously don’t understand the whole process. Can someone explain? Thanks.

  Yeah. What you were told was wrong. Flat out wrong. You need to use Cinema Tools to convert the footage. I have a tutorial: https://library.creativecow.net/ross_shane/slow-motion_cinema-tools/1

  Thanks! That did the trick! looks great. Great tutorial. One more question. What about all the footage I didn’t shit at 59.94? I hear TWIXTOR is a great program to create smooth slow motion. But does me shooting in 23.98 negate that? Thanks again for your help.
