My problem is random freeze frames appearing when I render out an HD QT movie. It doesn’t matter whether I’m outputting a ProRes, DVCPro HD, 8 bit uncompressed or any other HD codec. Random freeze frames appear in the rendered movie. Sometimes at transitions and some times in the middle of a shot. The original timeline is an XDcamHD 35bps. I have Media Managed out to a clean drive and then exported using QT conversion to any number of HD formats with the same results. I’ve tried differant drives with the same results. I am outputting to FW800 drives. Right now I’m shooting blanks and I’m on episode 5 of a thirteen episode series. This just cropped up.

Have you tried deleting your render files and re-rendering? Trashing prefs?
