restore project
The drive I was working with died so I switchrd to one of my backups. All my backups are identical as to where all media is located. This was going to be the first time for me to do this procedure. I launched the project file and was faced with connecting all the media. I was told elsewhere I would only have to do it this way if media was out of place. I looked through the menus and found restore project so I tossed my work clicked on was directed to my auto save folder one more click and I was 95% up loosing some render files. M question is why did the project file do one thing and the auto save do another. Obviously I will use the autosave in future if this happens again. I have been backing up the project file all over the place. Sorry for the lengthy post but it is a com[plicated post.
