  Good Wireless Headphones

  Hi guys,

  Does anyone have a good set of wireless headphones they can recommend for editing?
  I’m interested in recommends for wired ones too.

  Wireless most of the time includes a delay. You can’t have that when editing.

  Got to the audio forum and ask there about wired ones.

  As Bouke says, you want wired headphones if you’re going to use them professionally.

  BUT, know that headphones are terrible for audio mixing. You will rarely get a mix that sounds the same when played back on amplified speakers if you do the mix on headphones.

  That’s why pros never use headphones unless they are in a situation where it’s required, such as editing in a remote location where speakers are impractical.

  I never thought of the delay thing. Oh well. It would have been nice to be free of the wire.

  It’s true. Speakers are the only way to objectively get the actual audience experience sound. I’m thinking headphones because I’m entering a situation with a bunch of edit suites crammed together with thin walls.
