I have a company logo in jpeg: white background, black and blue letters. When I import the jpeg in FCP, the blue letters in the logo turn to green? Even before I dump it on the timeline..?

How can I preserve original color?

Sounds like the logo file’s color space is CMYK (not good for video, but great for print and common too). So open the file in photoshop and change the format to RGB.
