  Color is Awesome!

  I have been using FCP for almost 6 years, but this last week has been the first time I have used Color to help me with a project. Unfortunately, I’m using it to “Fix it in post”, but it is making a mediocre project look like an expensive lighting director was on the shoot.

  My point?

  If you have been using FCS for a while and have ignored or been intimidated by Color, find a good tutorial (Walter Biscardi has one for sale here on the Cow, you can also find them elsewhere) and get with it. If you are competent on FCP, Color should not eat your lunch.

  Color is even better when you have a controller like the Tangent Wave
