    Hello,

I recently altered my sequence in FCP 7 and tried to export it in the usual way I have done with this particular sequence, only this time the resulting Quicktime file is a corrupt, jumpy movie of less than half the length of my total sequence.

    Here are the specs:
my frame size and pixel aspect ratio are (according to Command+0) HD 960×720, compressor setting is DVCPRO HD 720p60

When I Export to Quicktime Movie I change Current Settings to DVCPRO HD 720p60, Audio and Video etc.

I’ve cleared my Ins and Outs, thoroughly inspected my timeline (plays back just fine) and toggled my V1 to V1 and my A1 & A2 to A1 & A2. My movie is supposed to be close to 12 minutes long. The exported quicktime video is 4 minutes and change, with choppy sound and image.

I also tried Apple ProRes 422 HQ 960×720 60p. Same result.

    Help!

    Thank you kindly,
    Ilana

    Use the correct workflow.

Export QT Movie. Settings should always be set to Current settings. Do not change this. Include Audio and Video.

For 12 minutes select Make Movie self-Contained.
