Need a good resource for Final Cut Color
Does anyone have a favorite guide for getting your head around Final Cut’s color? OR is there a better piece of software to use for color correcting that is affordable (like magic bullets)? I’m a little more used to Avid’s color correcting system…but still, I’m an editor and not a colorist.
But alas, in the indie world one must do it all. =)

We do have an Apple Color forum here on the Cow.
I have a DVD available here on the Cow that will get you up and running on Color in about two hours.

Go to Peach Pit Press and order the “Color” tutorial. It will teach you a lot about the program so you can do many cool things with it.

I recommend Walter’s DVD. I was a bit intimidated by the interface, until I got that DVD, and it went through things bit by bit. Took me a week to get comfortable with it.

I have watched a few and I must say I like robbie’s Lynda.com the best…now if they would just have him do an advanced class and a resolve 101!
