For some reason, I cannot import an avi that is uncompressed. If I want to prerender a file with an alpha channel, AE does not accept it when I try to bring it back in. Or, on the rare occasion it does see the file, it may let me include it in the Project panel, but it cannot be added to the timeline. I can import anything compressed with the Cineform and other codecs, just not uncompressed. I know there’s a setting somewhere I’m missing. I’ve tried deleting the Prefs file, and have done a clean reinstall twice to fix the problem, but am having no success. Any help would be appreciated.
