  • Problems with audio sync using 5D and XDCam footage

I’m having an issue with the audio sliding out of sync while trying to sync 5D video with XDCam audio.

5D “video”… H.264 files shot at 23.98 and transcoded using streamclip to ProRes 422 at 23.98.

XDCam “audio”… XDCam files shot at 23.98 and imported using the XDCam import function.

I’m using Pluralize to match up the audio and was having a difficult time getting it to work. I ended up checking the “try really hard” box in the settings and it did match up the begining of the clip. But shortly after the clip starts to play… the audio starts to drift out of sync.

    Anyone have any suggestions…

    Thanks,
    Kevin
