  24fps 5d mark ii footage slow motion?

  Mark ii can’t shoot 60fps.. should I upconvert first in Compressor? Use twixtor? What’s the most professional way of doing this right? After Effects? Cinema Tools?
  I need amazingly smooth slow motion for a music video. Shot in 24 ( should have used 30 ). Need to slow it down 33%. 1920×1080 5d mark ii footage.

  Why up convert anything?

  Use Twixtor. Or Motion Optical Flow.

  Yeah you can’t really “add” virtual frames… Not really. Twixtor is best, remember that pros use actual slow mo (200fps and up) cameras for this kind if stuff… Also check out this for awesome use of the twixtor plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-ductU-iA8&feature=youtube_gdata_player

  Twixtor is good but the results greatly depend on the footage. Anything with lots of crossing motion ie arms crossing body or body crossing complex background will be troublesome and the image will “tear and pull”.
