Flash converter within QT
Need an On2Flix option for Quicktime. I was using On2Flix as it gave me the ability to export FLVs right off the timeline. On2 is unavailable and I can’t get a new download from them.
Any apps like On2 that work within QT?

Is you client requiring you to use On2Flix to make you Flash video files?
If not, can you client use the newer H.264 version of Flash files. Meaning, you can create flv video files very quickly and easily without the On2Flix program.
Just export your timeline using the native compression of your timeline. Go into Compressor and choose or set the correct setting for you H.264 QuickTime file and compress it. When it is finished, make a copy of that file and change its extension from .mov to .flv, A question box will pop-up asking you if this is correct, click the OK button. You now have a H.264 Flash video file with the .flv extension.
It works! This is why On2Flix is defunct.

OK. Can we export “send to compressor” instead of the 2 step process?

You can, but you may run into problems depending on the complexity of your program. The “Send to…” feature is a great marketing gimmick just like the “Share” feature. Yeah, they work sometimes. Give it a shot!
