  copy filter settings for older FCP

  I have some filter settings in a FCP7 project. I want to save the settings to use on a laptop that has an older version of FCP. Is there any way to do this? Or do I just need to change all the settings from scratch in the older version? Thanks.

  One way would be to drag the filters to a bin, name the filters, make a new project, copy>paste the bin folder with filters to the new project. Save as XML and them import into FCP6.
