Clips lagging after adding effects
When adding an effect to a clip in my sequence after adding the effect transitions between clips lag a few seconds. There are no transition effects between clips, just clip to clip but it seems to lag for some reason. I think all the settings are the same as far as I can tell. As an example of effects I’m working with would be superimposed text over a clip.
Any thoughts? -

Make sure you have rendered all your clips. Titles can slow down playback if not rendered.

All titles have been rendered. One thing I did notice actually is that when I insert the title but don’t render everything plays back fine, I just get “unrendered” where the title should be as expected. It’s only once I render the effect or title that things start lagging and getting jumpy.
