  Split screen shape of a triangle

  Been googling for a while without any luck. I want to do a split screen but I want it to be shaped as a triangle. Is it possible in FCP or do I have to use AE.. I really don’t wanna use AE 🙁

  Sandwich a triangle with an alpha channel in between your two video layers and set the top layer’s blend mode to Travel Matte Alpha.

  in this context what does “sandwich” mean? make an object?

  “Sandwich”, as in put the triangle on V2 and your video layers on V1 and V3.
