animate using 3 PNG images (front, back, and side of cartoon character)

okay so there is this sour patch video contest and we are given 3 PNG images of a sour patch cartoon character (the back, the front, and the side). My question is, how do I animate the sour patch character using only these 3 images?

You could use these views as guides to model the character in 3D.

In 2D, you could cut them up with masks and animate in a JibJab/cutout style, or you could use a warping tool like After Effects’s Puppet tool.

Either way, I don’t think it’s a job for Final Cut Pro.
