    Hi Creative Cow

My name is Johannes and I’m an editor in a small
production company. Yesterday my editting cell started to freak out.
I was setting up a sequence to export an MXF file in FCP using the CallibratedMXF plugin. When I imported my moviefile (a 1080i25 dvc pro
file I shot and editted myself) I noticed that is was way to dark and had way too much contrast. This was before I even put the file in
the new sequence I created. When I checked the movie file on my HD colours and contrast where in order.
I noticed that when I trimmed the file in FCP the colours jumped back
to normal but as soon as I released my left mouse button the footage
was to dark again. I opend an older project and the same thing happend.
When I export a ‘dark’ file from FCP the colour of the exported movie file is normal.
I am working on a mac pro 2×2.26GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 6 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ram. And FCP 7.0.3

    anyone got any ideas?
    Regards
    Johannes
