i imported a image sequence to quicktime pro, exported out as prores, and imported it into final cut.

the video is a flash animation and i made the background blue and green so i could key it out in final cut. After i key it out, everything seems fine, but after i render it, the background goes back to normal. what the heck am i doing wrong?????
    thanks

I vaguely remember this happening to me a couple years ago. Never did figure out what caused it, but exporting the clip as uncompressed instead of ProRes fixed it.
