    hello, i have read my final cut manual and i know the basics. i want to learn more advanced forms of editing. i want to be able to make rapid montages and dissolves where the upcoming image comes in with movement eg( from small to big,from the corner of the screen as it comes through the previous clip). where can i go to learn more advanced forms of editing

    You actually asked a few different questions there, so I’ll answer the last one. You can do any number of courses, some run by Apple about the technical aspects, and view a few online tutorials here and YouTube etc, but the real answer is that editing takes a long time to master. I means years. Ive been editing over 6 years now and many creative cow FCP answering people know about 2billion times more than me- not just the technical stuff which you can read in a manual, but the timing, and “art” of using creative initiative. It takes passion and time! As for your other questions, you may need to be a little more specific, although you could try searching for keyframing pictures or something….
