Border on still photos
Hi there,
I’m working on a project where I’m layering some still photos on top of each other in the style of a pile of photographs and each image (imported in square Pixel Aspect but with Anamorphic option checked) has a thin white border around it.
The issue I have is that when I lay the images on top of each other the border on one side of each photo (about a sixth of it on the right hand hand side) is being cut off and so doesn’t run the whole way around the photo.
Can anyone explain why this is please and what I need to do to alter it?

This makes no sense.
You are distorting the picture.

Hi,
I was giving as much detail as possible to aid an answer – Each jpg has square pixel aspect but I have ticked the Anamorphic option.
I don’t know if this has an effect on my images – hence why I’m asking the question .. :0)
You’re right though, I have distorted each image to look more like the size of an actual photo, is this what is causing my problem?

Here is a screen grab of my problem if this helps at all. I’ve tried re-importing the images, changing their size etc but as soon as I lay one on top of the other on the timeline, it cuts off one side of the border??

Again, there is no reason for you to check the pixels as Anamorphic.
Still cameras use Square pixels, no Anamorphic involved.
As far as I know there is no video/still format that use Square Anamorphic.
That makes no sense.
So try unchecking the Anamorphic, and see how it works in the time-line.

Changes in the browser doesn’t affect the stuff already in the time-line.
