    Greetings all,
What is a good service or way to transfer large video files (2GB or more) over the internet?

I have clients that want to give me source footage and I need something quicker and cheaper than fedex. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance.

If they have an ftp server, you can download directly to your computer via a secure password protected login.

What if they don’t and they are not too computer literate.

Then it will be slower than Fedex. If they have to upload to a service like Yousendit before you can download it it doubles the transfer time. For big files this is too slow.

Do you have a dedicated ftp server? If so they could upload directly to you.
