  Opening up a FCP project in an older version of FCP

  I started working on a project in FCP 7 and now I have to finish it in an older version of FCP. Is there anyway to do this without recapturing the whole thing??? any help/advice would be appreciated! thank you!

  You export an XML from FCP 7 to open in an earlier version of FCP.

  Generally Version 1 and 2 are the most compatible.
