I got those, but thanks! The video is shot on RED One using ultra prime lenses. Sure the retro look adds to the effect, but I’m just amazed with how good the grading look of it is. The same type of grading is also used in this video: https://vimeo.com/15560440

Final Cut Suite ships with Color, a very powerful well featured grading program. Learn how to use it. Worth every penny you didn’t have to spend on it.
The video looks like a simple flat contrast with desaturated color. This is quick and simple to do in color with curves. My guess also is that is was shot on a RED which has nice flat contrast and lots of latitude to bring up black detail without noise. Getting a look is very much about lighting and choices made in camera. If the camera shoots and locks in a high contrast, it is difficult to get rid of that.

Yeah Color is a really solid tool! It was shot on a RED. So would you say that if I shoot (i shoot on a 7d) with a ND filter (neutral density) I would get that flat look which I could take advantage of in post? I think I wil experiment with that and desaturation and contrast.
What type of filter do you think is applied? Could be pink to blue type of filter. Hard to explain..

If it was RED then you can manipulate ISO and Color Temperature in Color. This is what I suspect is happening, rather than color filters on the camera.
On a 7D you will need to wind the contrast right down and a few clicks off the saturation. I recommend checking the tutorials and videos from Phillip Bloom about how to setup a 5D/ 7D, particularly the contrast and sharpening settings.
