    Hello everyone,
I have a bunch of video clips and audio that was recorded to a separate device. Going through linking video and audio, everything works fine, I line them up by the slate, then Cmd-L to link the audio to the video track.
Thing is, this connection between video and audio only holds for as long as I keep the linked clips in the sequence. Is there a way to link the video and audio so, that when I pull the video clip from the bin into a new sequence, that the linked audio would automatically come with it? Is making sub-clips the only way to do that?
    Thanks!
    Michael

Mark in points on both the video and audio clips where the slate claps. Highlight both clips and right click. You will see an items that says merge clips. FCP will create a new permanent clip with your audio and video file linked together.
