    Hi all,

I’m having something corrupted in my project. Everytime i add a clip to this sequence in the timeline the name of the sequence changes to the name of the clip i just added, and it will keep doing it everytime I add a new clip.

This happened some months ago and since it was after exporting the final product i did not worry, i’ve worked on some other projects since then and everything was fine, and now again is happening in this other project.

I’ve repaired my permissions, trashed my preference which has worked in other type of fcp problems but nothing this time. (i just used FCS maintenance pack and it didn’t detect corrupted files) have no clue how to fix this.
hope any of you have some advice.

    Thanks a lot.

Btw, it started to happen after i switch to 7.0, and i don’t think it has do to with the footage format since the first time it happened i was working with HD and in this new case with SD.

This was fixed in Final Cut Pro 7.0.1.

    My software:
FCS Maintenance Pack – Tools to keep Final Cut Studio running smoothly and fix problems when they arise
FCP Versioner – Backs up Final Cut Pro projects to XML and creates changelists for each revision
    More tools…
