    Hello everyone!

I’m working on a music video for a friend’s band and in the chorus in particular I want to have the lyrics flowing out of the singers mouth in a text marquee.

I’d like them to eminate from the mouth as a small point and kinda flow like a snake out of his mouth, gradually getting bigger the further it leaves his mouth.

I’ve tried various things, but to no avail – anyone think they’ll be able to shed any light or come up with a suggestion?

    Thanks guys

Create a text layer, then draw a mask in whatever curve you want. Tab down the text layer and go to Path options, then select the path you just created.

Now at the top of the text layer select animate–> Scale. Tab down Range Selector and Advanced. Change the shape to Ramp Up, adjust the Scale and you should see the beginning of this effect.

Now under Path Options, keyframe your first margin so the text flows from the point. Now keyframe either the Amount (under Advanced) or the End (Under Range Selector 1) and you should start seeing some results. You may have to add some other animated stuff like tracking. Hope this helps!
