Hello I’m having trouble with my final cut pro 7 and playing out through blackmagic to digital beta.
It all seems to be playing out fine through final cut but then the monitoring off the digibeta has frozen. Does anyone know what could be causing this and what is the best way to troubleshoot it?

Sounds like the Easy Setup doesn’t match the sequence settings. Check your Audio/video settings to see if they are correct

Sounds like you’re sending the incorrect signal to the DigiBeta deck. Such as sending out an HD Signal which would result in the DigiBeta deck showing a frozen image.

As Michael suggests, check that your Easy Setup is correct, or if you are trying to downconvert an HD timeline to SD, ensure that your conversion is set up correctly on the video card.

Had a similar problem recently (same problem with digi and also external monitor), was solved by reinstalling the blackmagic drivers
