  Opening autosaved file causes everything to disconnect.

  Whenever I open the original save file, everything reconnects just fine.

  FCP has been crashing due to 5k+ stills on export. When I reopen using one of my oh so convenient auto saved files from minutes before the crash.. everything.. is disconnected.. When I try to reconnect.. it does no recognize the files..

  forcing me to take 20 steps back into my original project file..

  Anyone?!

  Over about 4000 pixels wide is the max for stills I think. At least with my system. How are you getting to the autosave files? If you can, it’s best to use the restore function within FCP. If it’s not what you want, don’t save.
