  P2 error – red exclamation – “no data”

  There’s lots out there on this topic – but I have not been able to find a solution.

  I’m running Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 I have successfully ingested 6 cards. I have another 7 that will not work. I get the dreaded red exclamation mark error – “no data” … I am however able to preview all of the clips in Log + Transfer. So I know they exist.

  I shot this footage over a year ago and for one reason or another just haven’t gotten around to doing anything it. I deleted the LastText files – but have repaired them and everything seems to be in working order. I’ve tried shortening the file names – nothing. I have the pulldown button unchecked. Still nothing.

  I’m thinking that maybe I shot the error cards at 1080i or 480i or something instead of 720p24 Would that affect my ability to import the footage into FCP? Sorry I’m a bit of a noob.

  Any info / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  I’d suspect that the LastText file’s is where the problem lies. How did you “repair” them? You might need something like this: https://www.imagineproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=3
