  • Multiple offsite editors with different editions and proxy files?

I am trying to edit with four different off site editors. Two with Final Cut Studio 3 and two with lower versions.
If at all possible, I would like to be able to send them home with compressed files generated from my main host FCP3 computer and then have them upload or return with those files that I can reassemble.
Is there any easy method to do this with or make it simpler?

Thank you so much for your help. I am so lost…

ok so you are going to make say HDV versions of the footage, let them cut, then you are going to online it and relink back to the high res footage? if so you should make sure to include time code in your compressed quick time files. then when you get the projects back from the editor, using the timecode on the footage quicktime you can overcut the sequence
