  Final cut pro quits unexpectedly

  I have a PowerMac with SnowLeopard, FCP Studio 7.
  I have been having unexpected quit errors for a year or more. I have re installed FCP, chucked pref files, run disc doc etc. I even bought a new Mac and the problem has followed me, on new projects with new media, and it gets worse as the projects become more complex. Heeelp please.
