• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Final cut express

  I am just trying to learn Final Cut, starting with the Express version. I have version 4.0 and can’t figure out how to import or capture video files from my Sony EX1. Any suggestions?

  That camera shoots in the XDCAM format and Final Cut Express is not compatible with XDCAM.

  If you with to use that camera you will need Final Cut Pro.

  **Hindsight is always 1080p**

  Thanks, I was afraid that was the case. Guess I have pull out the credit card and pony up the $$$$.
