Hey guys, running into a little issue. I’m going to just explain it all… maybe something will jump out at you.

I started with 2000 still images, and turned it into a timelapse in FCP. The sequence is native to the image size and set to the Animation codec @ 29.97.

From there, I exported in Animation codec… sent it to AE to paint out a couple things.

Then exported back to FCP. Dropped it into a 1080i sequence for color correction and to rotate it just slightly so the horizon was level. Scaled it down to about 67%. At this point we’re still good. Even after I export it… we’re good. Video looks fantastic.

Once I make a speed change though, to speed up my timelapse… I get interlacing issues. Any ideas on how to fix? Will a de-interlace filter help? What does it actually do? Will it lower the quality of my video?

Thanks guys – any help would be appreciated.
