  Final Cut Install

  I recently purchased the Final Cut Studio V3 upgrade. It installs fine on my laptop. On my MacPro (Intel), however, the white Install disc will not get initiated(or read correctly) by the drive. It never shows up on the desktop. All 6 of the black other discs read fine, however. I cannot figure out why this is happening.

  I created a DMG file of the Install disc on my laptop. I have not tried to use it yet however, because I know
  Final Cut asks for the install disc at the very end of the install. I didn’t know if Final Cut would not complete the process because the Install Disc is only gonna be a disk image?

  Also, are there are any issues that might come up down the road because of doing it in this unorthodox way?

  You should know that this upgraded by purchase from an apple store….thx

  DMG will work great and as a matter of fact, its now the only way I install.
