• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  STILL Unexpectedly Quit

  Hey I know this seems to be a common problem, but I have tried many things and I’m still not able to open Final Cut Pro 5. Here’s my comp:
  Hardware Overview:

  Model Name: iMac
  Model Identifier: iMac11,1
  Processor Name: Intel Core i7
  Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
  Number Of Processors: 1
  Total Number Of Cores: 4
  L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
  L3 Cache: 8 MB
  Memory: 8 GB

  There was no “Final Cut Pro User Data” folder in my Library>Preferences. I have unplugged all my USB peripherals. I have restarted my comp several times. I moved FCP to this comp from my previous one about 6 months ago, and I have successfully opened/used FCP on this comp in the last 2-3months. THIS SUX, PLEASE HELP ME!!!

  FCP should never be moved from one computer to another. It doesn’t matter if it worked for a while, everyone is going to tell you to reinstall. You need to do a full install. ALso you must have FCP 5.1 for work on an Intel Mac.
