When I ingest media from MXF files, I utilize the Log & Transfer feature to cut down my “Selects” and thus create only QT files that have potential use in my show. Basically, a sort of early media management routine.

But I don’t know how to do this with a multi-camera timecode-synced sequence. Is there a way to grab the “Selects” timecode I ingested from Cam 1 and match it to the Cam 2 (and Cam 3) MXF files and only ingest the same sequence matching video for each?

Can this be done, or do I need to just bring all the material in, then utilize the “Make Multiclip” function and live with the extra QT media on my Drive?

    Thanks.

If you do not have the material in full quality, and it is XDcam,
    you need this:

If you have the material in full quality, it should be a matter of normal media management.

Yes, it is in full HD quality. Thank you for the response. This link will come in handy for some other projects, though.

    Good luck.
