  Duplicate Frames occuring under color matte layers

  When adding a color solid layer over my source video, I’m noticing that Final Cut will duplicate frames instead of showing the correct ones. If I hide the color solid layer, it shows the proper frames. I have several composites like this in my timeline (keyframed motion color solids) however this error only occurs after the first 50 minutes of the 90 minute feature.

  Technical: 960×720, 23.98 fps, DVCPRO HD 720p60

  I would appreciate any help resolving this issue.
