Am working on a 70-minute documentary project and just send the audio to be sweetened (as an OMF). The sound guys, who did a wonderful job, just uploaded the new file (wav) onto their FTP site. I successfully downloaded the clip and everything seemed fine. Unfortunately at about the 50-minute mark the audio drifts wildly out of synce. It plays perfect fine in the viewer but when I drop it on the timeline it gets out of sync around the 50-minute mark. What am I doing wrong? Have never encountered this problem before.

I am editing with a Dual Quad Core MacPro (eSata drive), FCP v. 7.0.2, am editing on a DVCPRO HD 720p 23.98 timeline. Audio is 48k, 24-bit integer wav file. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Shot in the dark: can your audio person give you back an aif file instead of the wav?
