    Hi,

I’ve checked a few other forums but can’t seem to find any answers to my little prob. I just opened an old FCP 6 file in recently upgraded FCP 7 to print to video my 50 min DVCam programme. After checking the sequences some of the audio is suppressed – meaning barely audible. This sound is in the same two audio tracks (of 8 total) of the three sequences but not all the sound in those two audio tracks have been suppressed. These are normal. I have rendered everything I can and short of spending days re-editing I don’t know what to do.

I updated to Snow Leopard at the same time as Studio 3 but didn’t do either ‘clean’. Wondering if this is the issue?

The Master clip/source files are fine.

    Appreciate any advise.

    cheers,
    Gary

This was so obvious that I forgot to put it in the original query. No, dB levels are the same.

Ahhh, sorry Scott. For some reason a filter had been turned on, suppressing the sound. No idea though how it turned on itself. Perhaps I was sleepwalking.

    cheers,
    Gary
