  Troubleshooting M2T

  A client shot their documentary using a Sony HVR-V1U and provided me with a hard drive full of M2Ts. I’ve been able to convert most of the clips using log & transfer in FCP (after downloading a plugin from Sony), but there are a handful of clips that simply won’t convert. I’ve tried ClipWrap too, but no luck. I see nothing obviously wrong with the raw media for these clips — they appear to have the right combination of file types (one .IDX, and pairs of .M2T’s and .TS’s). Anyone have any tips on troubleshooting this?

  Email Mike at Divergent Media (Clip Wrap). I’m sure he’d be interested in why ClipWrap is not working with your M2T file. It’s what I use when in the situation you are in.
