    Very cute, but I had enough of it by the 3rd or 4th clip.

    You can do that in FCP using the Motion tab to move each clip. You might speed things up by copying & pasting attributes from the 1st clip to all the others.

    It’s easier in AE by parenting everything to one clip & moving that clip. It’s easier still in Motion by placing everything into a single layer & moving that layer, probably with just a Throw behavior.

    Regardless of which you choose, it’s fairly complicated, so I’m going to recommend that you get out your manuals & start reading up on those features.
