  Cineform to FCP workflow?

  Hi,
  I was contracted to do some VFX work on a horror film. The only background plates I have to work with are Quicktime movies that have a Cineform codec. The info window shows that they are 2048×1152.

  Can someone suggest a way to convert them to Prores 422? I was hoping to do my CGI in LightWave 3D and then composite in FCP or Motion ( I’m on a Mac). Is there a better workflow?

  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
